This shows a classic question bias error in surveys. The first and last option are extreme, leading to a strong middle result.

As long as I can still view it on my Sidekick.

Thank you Ed. You're right. Trust the usability guy.

It just that I've been bugged by the design from the start. It's not really mine. I altered a template. Since I make part of my living by doing websites it feels like I cheated.

I believe the problem is not in the questions, but in the persons answering them. People are basically wimps when it comes to their friends. Who would say that ones friend looks like shite when they in fact do? This is the handicap of friendship. So, just pretend that everyone is Osama Bin ladin and candor will prevail.

(I think the website is OK, but I was the only one to respond --thus far--by saying that it "hurt my eyes" only because "fine" is a low standard. Afterall, you are an entrepreneur whose taste is discerning. Go for the upgrade. Impress us. I want to say: "OOoooohhhh" or "AAaaahhh." Go for it.

Sir Constantine.

Nope, I'll disagree with Sir Constintine. Having three options - it sucks, it is fine and it is awesome is poor survey design. Generally, things are not great, nor are they poor. Generally they are somewhere in the middle. If you use 5 or 7 different choices, with a Great, Good, Fine, Needs improvement, Is aweful you will still see a cluster in the middle three, but you have mitigated the possible issue with people not wanting to be extreme, or hurt the persons feelings, or please the experimentor, or what ever.

I know what Steve means, it is a standard blogger template and well, he can do better - which is a Needs improvement. It does not, however, make my eyes bleed. Then again, I review web sites for a living and know just how bad they can be.

Feel free to bash my personal web site, which is a standard blogger template in retaliation, if you like.
